Old-School, New Enhanced CD
It's tough to be a musician nowadays. Not like it wasn't rough in earlier years, but thanks to this crazy, super-convenient Internet world we live in, there's all kinds of competition for your ears (and eyes). If you have a new bunch of tunes you'd like to get out to the world, you need to think of ways to set yourself apart outside of just being "awesome musicians."
So in putting together our new five-song EP, "Hey Girl," Giant Wow had the idea of value-adding it with extra content: MP3s of additional songs, photos of the band, and even the video for one of our songs, Cosmonaut. How would we be able to do something like that? By making our new CD an "enhanced CD" -- a hybrid of an audio disc and a data disc.
I remembered that it was pretty easy to make these kinds of discs with your standard CD-burning software. So imagine my surprise when we found out that today's professional mastering software couldn't take...

The Low Frequency Chronicles: The Beginning
Good day to you, young ones. This is the first of many blogs. I have no idea what I am going to talk about nor will I ever. Just a little free verse from the big fella, so eat your heart out James Joyce.
The 5 song EP is in the final stages. Jesse is putting on the final vocal touches. The tracks are slammin'! Buy at least 3 copies. You'll want to pass it along to friends.
Working on getting some tunes into the set list. There are some brand new songs like "Be Quick About It"- a ceritifiable rocker and the moody blazer, "Not Like This". Plus, we just started working on a third called, "Destroy Your Enemies". Hey, that's what you get for messing with us! As well, we are bringing back some Giant Wow classics with new wrinkles. New versions of "The End of Something" and "Nice to Meet You" are on the horizon plus a few more. Stay tuned, kiddies.
